Customer Service Associate
About the Role:
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of customer processes such as generating quotes and processing orders for spare parts and consumables, as well as managing service processes.
You will interface with a diverse base of customers and representatives daily. You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams and serve as the backup for Inside Sales functions. You will also assist with managing customer relationships, customer records, and sales and service processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create Quotes for spare parts, consumables, and repairs
- Process customer orders for instrument and aftermarket sales in a timely and accurate manner and communicate order status to our customers and internal team
- Create RMAs, provide RMA status reports, follow up and coordinate with customers and internal teams
- Work closely with the Sales team, distributors, and international offices to maintain accurate and current accounts and contacts within CRM and ERP systems
- Maintain pricing and price lists
- Assist other service team members with supporting our customers
- Provide backup functions for Inside Sales (order processing, quotes)
- Develop reports and gather statistics on support and services
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree, preferably in a science or engineering discipline
Experience and Technical Requirements:
- Superb attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and an analytical mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 1-3 years prior experience in a customer-facing role
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and navigate changing priorities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM and ERP tools (Salesforce, NetSuite) is a plus
