Imaging Particle Analysis - Food & Beverage Applications

FlowCAM can be a powerful tool for analyzing the ingredients found in foods and beverages. From formulation research to production quality control, the unique capabilities of FlowCAM produce information on particle size and shape, allowing users to isolate different particle types from a heterogeneous mixture.   This can be done in an interactive fashion using the VisualSpreadsheet Interactive Scattergram feature, and also automatically using Pattern Recognition.

 

With pattern recognition, the user can build up libraries of specific particle types to look for in FlowCAM data, and then automatically search each FlowCAM data run to determine the percentage content of those specific particle types found in the sample!
