Research Areas:

The Department of Oceanography and Coastal Sciences at the School of the Coast & Environment at LSU are utilizing the FlowCAM on several different projects to image and classify plankton samples from coastal estuaries, oyster aquaculture facilities, and offshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico in research related to the BP Deepwater Horizon Response and Natural Resource Damage Assessment in the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to the Portable FlowCAM, we have two licensed versions of the Satellite VisualSpreadsheet^®.
